Dipping my toes back into swaps...I saw a swap for cards to "Make Your Momma Proud"...Well my mother has been ill lately...Seemed the right thing to join in this swap...Took some time to coax my Mojo, but It finally kicked in after looking all over Pinterest and Splitcoaststampers...and the results are.......

Flowers for a Friend Swap @ SCS

theme for this swap is flowers...any occasion...but had to have flowers...easy right?....NOT!...i guess i am not a flower kinda girl....had to get some ideas from the SU Galleries @ SCS...such inspiration...

so the first one i used the rock-n-roll technique on the flower...hadn't done that in ages...and this stamp is perfect for it...

the second card i had trouble with...matching up the paper flowers...was going with purple and lavender...changed my mind and went with pink shades...

p.s. my back injury is not as serious as first suspected...but what a pain (literally) when stamping...good thing i got "in the zone" for awhile
