this 1st card is masculine...always trying to do those type of cards...
Keepin' It Wheel Swap Paper: Basic Gray..Basic Black Ink: Basic Gray..Basic Black Stamps: Totally Tool..Builder Bits Wheel Accessories: ticket punch..screw top brads |
and the 2nd card is patriotic...CASE'd from this card by TxCardMaker...i had some red gingham ribbon...but it didn't want to co-operate...lol...so i left it off...and you all know i'm a CAS kinda girl at heart...
now to finish the recipe cards for a swap i'm hostessing...be safe/be well...
Oh, I really like both of these! That first one is great for a guy (I need that for my husband!) and love the red, white, and blue on the second card too.

You did great with your wheel! I have not ever used mine either! Love both of your cards! I enjoy making guy cards ... maybe it's the challenge of trying to make something plain.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards. Love the tools. My grandpa was a carpenter, cards like these remind me of him. I sure miss him!! Thanks for the wonderful walk down memory lane.
ReplyDeleteThese are both great! I love the tool one, most of the guys I know fancy themselves a handyman (even if they aren't). The second one is wonderful, too. Very patriotic!
ReplyDeleteI like them both. I'm always trying to find nice masculine cards. I finally unmounted all of wheels and use them on an acrylic block.
ReplyDeleteBoth of them are great. I do not do Masculine cards well at all :)
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the patterned background on the first card! The screw brads are a nice touch.
ReplyDeleteTwo great cards! I love the monochrome "manly" look on the first one and the fabulous embossing on the second. You should definitely break out those wheels more often!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a fun swap, for sure! I also have many wheels that have never seen ink...don't really know why. Both cards came out great! I especially like the fun accents you added to both to finish them off beautifully. Thanks for the inspiration today! :)
ReplyDeleteCute cards! Masculine cards are hard to do, but yours look great. TFS!
ReplyDeleteGreat masculine cards! I love the tool one!
ReplyDeleteThey both look great! I love my wheel stamps, but I did unmount them. They are easier to use that way.
ReplyDeleteEven though I love my wheels I have to admit that I forget to get them out! Great masculine card and you "wheeled" great!
ReplyDeleteLove the Cards! Very masculine and perfect!
ReplyDeletelove both of these cards. I don't use my wheels much either.
ReplyDeleteFor someone who doesn't use them often, you did a fabulous job with your wheels! I use mine on occasion for cards, but never on a scrapbook page...guess I'm worried it will be crooked since I like to 'free hand' my stamping! Two great cards for this swap!!
ReplyDeleteThey are both great, love the screw top brads in the first and of course LOVE the RWB!
ReplyDeleteI think I need to get me wheels out too now I've seen these. Great inspiration

And yes, of course you can case my card. Just let me know once you have so I can come and see it
Great card.
